1 st International Yogasana Championship (Macao) will grandly launch in January 2026.

To promote yoga culture, elevate practice, and foster exchange among local and international yoga enthusiasts, the Macau Yoga Professional Association (MYA) is pleased to announce the grand opening of the "Inaugural Macau Yoga Asana Competition" in Macau from January 14 to 15, 2026. This marks the first professional competition in Macau's yoga community focused on asana technique and artistic expression.

The competition aims to provide a high-level competitive platform, encouraging practitioners to refine their asana techniques and showcase the depth, power, and graceful beauty of yoga practice. The competition will strictly adhere to internationally recognized yoga asana competition rules, and a judging panel of experienced yoga instructors and internationally certified judges will ensure the authority and fairness of the competition.

Event Highlights:

· Inaugural Glory: This is the first professional yoga asana competition in Macau's history, a milestone event.

· Professional Competition: Multiple categories will be established (e.g., men's, women's, and age groups......). Participants will be required to accurately and smoothly complete designated and optional asana sequences within the specified timeframe.

· Authoritative Judging: Renowned yoga instructors and certified judges from both China and abroad will conduct professional scoring based on multiple criteria, including asana completion, technique, stability, breathing control, fluidity, and overall expression.

· Skill Exchange: Bringing together local and international yoga elites, the competition will provide a platform for participants to showcase their skills and present high-level yoga art to the audience.

· Generous Awards: Winners in each category will receive certificates of honor, trophies, and generous prizes.

· Promoting Development: Through competitions, the competition will stimulate public interest in yoga and enhance the professionalism and internationalization of yoga in Macau.
